Where We Are

Johnson City's central location and proximity to I-81, I-88 and the soon-to-be I-86 means that we are only a few hours away from almost every major destination in the northeast and lower Canada.

Cosmopolitan New York City and Montreal; along with historic Washington DC, Boston and Philadelphia are favorite destinations for long weekends; while Niagara Falls, Newport, Cape Cod and the famous Finger Lakes wineries offer convenient and relaxing getaways.

For adults there's the excitment of Atlantic City, Turning Stone, Tioga Downs and Saratoga as well as day-trips to Hershey Park, Dorney Park and Darien Lake for the kids.

Sports fans are only a few hours away from Yankees and Mets baseball or Bills, Giants and Jets football, not to mention the Baseball Hall of Fame and Soccer Hall of Fame in nearby Cooperstown and Oneonta.

Fans of the outdoors will also find what they're looking for right on their doorstep. We have almost 11,000 mi2 of the "forever wild" Catskill and Adirondack State Parks to our east and north. Their famed trails, campgrounds, rivers, lakes, lodges, snow mobile trails and ski resorts (including Olympics host Lake Placid) draw visitors from around the world, but we're right next door.

Our location also allows for a variety of dependable shipping and travel options for your business needs.

Our network of Interstate, state and local roadways and a nearby railway yard provide inexpensive and reliable ground transportation for your products and supplies. At the same time, Binghatmon Airport's numerous connecting flights and easy access to the international airports in Syracuse, Scranton, Newark and Philadelphia mean that we're also just a few hours from almost every destination in the world.
